Since when are we supposed to be challenging the top teams?? We have moved away from an awful downward spiral into the bottom 3 into relative safety. We have too many 2nd rate players to be seriously challenging the top teams.  Give the new manager time to change the squad and bin a few players including several currently regularly chosen for the first team. WBA away or any away game is difficult game for a team in our transitional state. Don't try to run before you can walk. February hopefully will see a couple of new names, midfield and strikers.
wasnt that the plan? To challenge the top teams. Yes I understand the recent results have stabilised us. But Jees this is just shite football. It's West Brom who can't put a win on the table for months and we are second rate to them! FFS.

Doesn't necessitate playing a defender in place of him.

No but playing a tired young DCL...

Niasse is just the kind of player for this type of game to be honest. He'll inadvertently, somehow make something happen and turn a clearance into an attack.

Tom Davies has not really progressed from last year. Disappointing.

Big Jonjoe's at least doing some good stuff.

Definitely isn't worthy of a place in the side. Needs a spell out badly.

“Regarding West Brom v Everton, what a shoddy, shambolic encounter between two wretched teams. With so little quality on display it’s tough to single out the worst performance but my head has been turned by Jake Livermore who has been mind-numbingly terrible. If he starts the second half I may begin weeping.”

It’s been turgid stuff.' Guardian

So its not just us then....

Can't pass, shoot or tackle. Vlasic and Besic must be doing badly in training to be behind Davies.
