Doesn't sound like we've agreed a deal then, bit strange he'd be playing in their FA Cup and risking injury if he was coming to us on the 1st.

So obviously not at Finch Farm then or the move broke down?

Sorry I only saw the 2nd half... looked lively and took the goal well. Besiktas were 2-0 up and in control and he had Negredo up with him.

Deal won't be close if he's played tonight.

Word in the US directly from MLS is that Besiktas wants Cyle Larin (Canadian international striker) from Orlando City FC. That one is in the final stages, supposedly, so maybe the Tosun deal is next in line. It also seems like it's an opportunity for a fan farewell, which does seem very odd in risking injury for £20M+.

hmmm.

What a bizarre thing for an opposing manager to say. Maybe Big Sam will say the same about Coutinho after the FA Cup game next week :)
