Yeh I don't think anyone really thinks he's fast as such, but he looks to be able to do what Pienaar used do and manoeuvre himself around defenders in tight spots, with the added benefit of being a lot more stocky to hold them off. Point being he looked as if he wanted to do that, whereas a lot of our players don't want to take that responsibility and pass it on to someone else.

Hes quite strong, seems to come out of a lot of scrambles with the ball, and heís very direct.

Think the main thing is we donít have a lot of players like him in the side and heís quite exciting. Think heíll prove a good finisher as well as longer as we can make a few chances for him.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Just hope he doesn't get left behind in Sam's short term quest for experience.

I've got a feeling Koeman was right (for once) in that Vlasic would excel in the middle.

Shame we have Our Wayne and our record signing blocking his path.

                 Pickford

Kenny  Holgate  Williams  Martina

                  Gueye

Walcott      Sig      Vlasic   Rooney

                  Tosun

Robles Jagielka Davies McCarthy Bolasie DCL Beningame Keane

Quite an attacking line up to start, catch West Brom cold.
Rooney to do his usual roam around in the centre of the park. Give Bolasie a break. Decent bench for all
purposes.

What's worse than Sig on the wing? Rooney on the wing.

If we're not trying Garbutt now, then really what's the point? See if he's got anything to contribute, upside is maybe if he shows potential and we can consider pushing off the LB purchase until later IF the right player really isn't around right now.

Otherwise, we're kinda forced into the market, be it a loan or otherwise...but I suppose at least we find out if Garbutt is up for it or not.

I would've thought a LB would be a day one purchase when the window opened, but possibly the targets we want aren't available this window.
