Think Schneiderlin has done alright actually.

McCarthy just pointless in this game (and most)

Heís should be the one getting into / up to the edge of the box.

If youíre not going to be creative then use physical abilities to at least act as a distraction etc.

The 2 CMs and 2 CMs/DMs are a huge issue. Youíd think with the absence of attacking intent weíd be stronger defensively, but thatís somehow the more shambolic aspect.

Thatís the issue when you buckle to popular complaints.

You end up doing neither one thing nor the other.

The only obvious change I can see is playing Rooney really deep in midfield, risking his passing inconsistency and hoping that he can unlock something.

Pumping the ball long from Pickford, which we were doing at 0-0 is absolute meat and drink for the West Brom grocks.

Best midfield performances were 4-3-3.

Rooney is fine in midfield with runners in there with him.

The problem is we donít have an identity. Therefore we donít have a way of playing which means we donít score goals. Under Moyes, we knew that Baines and Pienaar was a major source of attacking play. We also had other partnerships like Cahill and Yak up top or Carsley/Gravesen. We donít have any partnerships anywhere on the pitch, and so no real connection when attacking.

3 managers this season and a team in which nearly every player wasnít playing here 18 months ago.

Need to fix on an idea of the best XI and make it work rather than changing every time it doesnít.

Ronald Koeman/Steve Walsh wasted an absolute fuckton of money replacing the shite left by Martinez with decent players who don't complement each other.

Discontinuity of selection has been an issue all season (partly influenced by the Europa demands).

No chance to build up relationships
