The players we've signed from the premier league haven't been great as well.

You can't point at klassen and Sandro as an example as to why we shouldn't sign players from abroad.

People could easily argue about how good vlasic has looked to counter that

Vlasic hasn't looked good but then he hasn't really had a chance . Don't know how some people on here can praise someone we haven't really seen so highly . Likewise Sandro as being a striker he more than any of them needed a run of games . If Tosun was judged on the same opportunity as Sandro he be on the transfer list by now .

Or add Williams and to a certain degree Keane to the discussion.

Did read a very good article on him the other day which I can't find again. The gist of it was no-one is sure if he's even that good as he's not done anything spectacular in his career so far and he doesn't really stand out in the Anderlecht side like a Lukaku did for example. He's just the next one to be hyped after Tielemans, who hasn't tore up any trees in his step up to Monaco, which isn't even that big of a jump.

The biggest argument against signing him I can think of is that Robert Martinez identified him as a target and therefore he’s likely to be absolute tat

Hahaha

Bet he has a ''unique skillset''

I do actually want this fella like but I'm always happy to oblige in a dig at the baldy one.

Anderlect are probably leaking we are in for him to make West Ham cough up the money. As they lost out on Onyekuru to us over the summer because of it.

Likely to be this season's Brede Hangeland, as in we were linked with him for a fair few years, then he was linked to other clubs including The Shite, only to end up at Fulham and Palace for the last eight years of his career.

I still want him though, like what little I've seen, like what I've heard, and his name is just stupendous.
