Just taking this from BBC 606 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A61935690
Gerrard suspended for 2 weeks after half time bust up vs Reading and substituted.

There's some joke comments but the one by fozzie1999 (U8256885) at about 15.35 does raise a good question. If it happened (didn't see ITV coverage) why would your Cheif Exec tell the pitchside reporter at halftime that Gerrard was subbed?

In case link doesn't work
There is a big rumour doing the rounds that there was a major kick off at half time on wednesday involving Gerard, Pelegrino Sammy Lee and Reina,
source is within the club, but cannot name for obvious reasons, apparently Gerrard has vowed not to play whilst Rafa is in charge. Anyone else heard anything??
Depressingly like the Goodison fight a few years back that heralded the end Of kennys reign.

Then

Not sure if this is true or not but I found it strange to hear the ITV pitchside chap (Gabriel Clark?) announce that Purslow had confirmed Gerrard would not be playing in the second half.

That's like David Gill, Daniel Levy & Danny Fizzman doing the same, it just doesn't happen!!

If it had some from Lee or Pellegrino it would have been more plausible!!

Hmmmmmm

Looks like Rafa's lost the dressing room big time  lolol
Please don't sack him :hail:

Wouldn't surprise me if it was true. I must admit I did find it strange that they said Purslow had announced it.

Sounds possible.

I read once that Gerrard doesn't recall Benitez ever talking to him about anything other than football. Not once.

Obviously the Waiter has problems building relationships.

My dad, who is a Liverpudlian, said there was a rumour going around a couple of months about Gerrard and Benitez. He said Benitez was moaning about a load of stuff after one game, and Gerrard turned around and said "But you're the one who picks the team!". Rafa then apparently stormed out of the dressing room.

Surely they'll make it up, otherwise they'll be no chance of Stevie becoming chief "escout"!

It gets better and better, doesn't it?
There's nobody better than Murf667, she's the best little Evertonian I know!
As for you, Murf 668, your Everton shirt can hardly wait.

If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards.  Checkmate!

That might be why he's been looking disinterested in most matches then.
