Iíve seen discussions about whether itís a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 but to me it looks more like weíre playing two up top when we have the ball.

Not sure if itís on purpose but there is a massive gap between our two CMs and Sig/Tosun as nobody is really playing in the fabled number 10 role.

Agreed. It's more more like a 4-4-2 than a 4-3-3. Sigurdsson defends from a forward position and stays forward when we have the ball.

Our "properĒ midfielders ó Schneiderlin, Gana, Davies ó are varying degrees of useless at passing forward against a set defense so our attack (as it is at the moment) works alright when we have space to counter but less so when our opponent packs its own half like Huddersfield did today.

There's plenty of time to improve but we definitely have a lot of work ahead of us. Hopefully, Bernard and Gomes can help with some of those issues.

I would rather see dowell outwide than DCL.

Suppose that sounds daft after he scored but he doesnít really offer anything outwide other than winning headers from long diagonals.

Neither Dowell or DCL are wide players. Where are all our wide players, oh that's right all shipped out on loan! Bar Richarlison on the left.

Surely you arenít suggesting that you wanted to see Bolasie or Mirallas start against Huddersfield?

Have we really gone from praising Silva/Brands for getting rid of dead wood to complaining that theyíve let them go already?

Ok I'll give you the DCL one👍🏼. Both Walcott and Look an are predominantly right sided are they not? I never said either Bolasie or Mirallas were any goo, but they were left sided.
