Sounded very perturbed in the interview he gave on Radio 5 live and when asked if he was staying, he said I have a contract and have never left a contract, except at Notts County. He then said it is not his decision but as I wrote above he was not cocky at all and sounded nervous but that he wanted to stay and give himself, the players, the board and then the fans a winning team.

When asked about Wayne Rooney (or Main Rooney as he called him), he turned on the media and said they are spreading rumours and that 1000%, there is no problem between them and that the decision for Wayne to go is down to the board and Wayne.

A) we’ve got no games to play

B) having someone in, who lots of people don’t like, that you know you are going to sack  having an input and influence on things in the meantime doesn’t offer any stability.

Not having an appointed manager for 1 or 2 weeks wouldn’t be a disaster.

Especially, if some of your targets are in leagues that have not finished yet.

Some posters on other sites are convinced the meeting is taking place on Wednesday.

I have been listening to Alan Brazil's show this morning and (I may be wrong) but he has not/hardly mentioned the Big Sam situation, whereas last week it was mentioned nearly every day. He and Mick Quinn, have spoken about every other potential managerial change but not Everton. Are they waiting for an announcement or am I probably putting two and two together and coming up with 5?

I (like the overwhelming majority on here) would want this situation resolved this week, so we can move forward and finally put this season to bed.

That’s what blocks the toilet.

That's why I posted it. I was trying to make a joke out of the last line, inferring that he would leave one last parting shot at the club but obviously, it did not work.

I'll get my coat.
