Pretty easy for Southampton defensively. They can give Schneiderlin and Gana all day on the ball with no fear of us making anything of it.

Their biggest worry here is misjudging the flight of a cross or the ball taking a funny bounce.

Sky would be well within their rights to withdraw their money for next season under Allardyce. No-one is going to tune in to watch this shite, not even Everton fans.

Gana would be such a good player in a properly functioning midfield where he just had to win in, and give it to more creative players. Got to keep him and put some passers next to him/in front of him.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Seen plenty of games like this at this stage of the season. It's not a surprise surely.

Is that number 147 or 148 in the book of unconvincing excuses in defence of Sam Allardyce? I always get those two mixed up.

Keep it tight and nick a goal is what we do now.

Would you rather we played like away at Soton in Koemans last game ?

We are fucking shite, the biggest worry is who is going to get a grip of the whole club and have the balls and the money to tear it up?...it isn't Moshiri that's for sure and the main worry... not who's the manager.
I still despise Clive Thomas..

If there was ever any lingering doubts about Allardyce this game should end them. He's completely clueless when it comes to actual playing football.

Vlasic occasionally using his strength to shield the ball from a defender is about as exciting as this game has gotten from an Everton perspective.
