Harking back to what Robbie Earle said, it is quite worrying just how many players are playing with such lethargy in a way that suggests they feel surrounded by a safety net, like a lack of consequences of their performances. Like none of them, bar Niasse when he came on (and I'll give Coleman a pass too), look like they have a hunger and desire to show the fans they give a shit, or are worthy of playing next year in a blue shirt.

That never, ever happened with Roberto, did it?  He always had the balls/dignity to face the people that ultimately paid his checks.

He was sacked before the Norwich game to probably avoid discontent, which is what this looks like.

I'd like to think it's a club decision, rather than his. I think he's got the temerity and self-belief to front such situations. It's a sensible move by the club (if true) from a PR POV, and hopefully it's indicative of their understanding of our frustration.

Klaassen, please.

Just because. We're not up to anything here.

Or maybe it suggests that they've given up fighting because they're coached by a fuckwit who regularly fields weakened teams, and know that whatever they do, they'll be hung out to dry anyway.
I didn't even remember I had a signature.

We are a poor team and missing Rooney, Sig and Walcott hasnt helped creativity today.

Soton also want/need the points far more here.

Fair play to the crowd cheering the team on and for the response to Davy,

Class as usual from our fans.

Jags coming off means our defence will be utter shit now, but nice to see Klaassen given a chance finally.

Feel sorry for the bugger though if he has to do the lap of "honour."

Did someone let one off amongst the Southampton fans? Lot of them were covering their faces.
