To be fair he's had next to no competitive football at this level for most of the season.

To be fair, whenever he had, he looked absolutely abysmal even in a shit team.

The squad is relegation fodder if it stays the same or ish..

It isn't really though, is it.

Sign two-three decent players in the right positions and it's solid top-half. Sign even more/better and we can start building something worth watching.

Same, people seem to conveniently forget the amount of bummings these players were involved in

That can be turned around by a competent and inspiring manager in a matter of weeks. Lot cheaper than buying a new squad, only to find out that without clear direction and good coaching they're cunts too.
