Batshuayi even on loan is a no brainer, I imagine it'd have something like a £50 million clause attached.

I think Chelsea aren't that arsed about losing their big talents as long as they make a huge profit on what they paid.

Put a 50m clause on it, I'm as happy as a clam.  That could seem bargain bin come next summer.

So how many players from around the world have Everton been linked to this transfer window. I lost count weeks ago. The message that came from Marco Silva last night added a little promise but  still nervy. But the direction last nights game went was uncomfortable. Still that notable inconsistancy. And now off to play Porto. I thought pre season was about the existing players getting moving as well as new additions. The way things are moving any new additions will be getting used to the game against Wolves.
it takes a second to make a friend, but a lifetime to keep one!!!

Haha brap, you've gone into full-on meltdown!

Have I?
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

What ever happened to Lukaku’s agent who was going to be pushing quality players our way with his apparently close working relationship with Brands?

Twitter is horrendous, the amount of blues kicking off "cos we're fucking skint again" is embarrassing

Wish people would ignore twitter, and ignore awful links from click-bait websites.

The manager's said last night that people will be signed and he expects that to start this week some time.

Why isn't that concrete information, direct from the horses mouth, enough for people? And why do they ignore it and prefer to believe clearly nonsensical links?

He's been working intensely with the players, and finding out about that. He might've changed his opinion on a few of them, both in terms of keeping some and letting others go.

Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

I'm just glad we seem to be going about things the right way after a couple of years of the scattergun approach.

The squad is poor, so it'll definitely be a concern if we don't see much happening in a couple of weeks. But they've said we're after players and we have a vague idea of the areas targeted, from some of the more reputable links we've read.

There's no way a new manager and DoF come in, have a whole summer in the job and go into the new season with the same squad that finished the previous season (if not worse, or at least fewer options, after the departures).

We'll probably sign someone soon. Maybe this week? People saying we've got no money is defeatist. There's a very good chance that FFP is tying our hands, to a certain extent. I don't know what the paramaters are were FFP is concerned, but it's bound to have some limitations on what we can spend, it's not all to do with the finances we have available.

Would love Batshuyi and RLC here like, instantly improve our midfield and attacking options.

There is a reason actual "fake news" is spread so widely.
