Great news about Digne, would be ace if we could sort Mina as well.

Howedes is a an odd link.  He must be in his 30s now and he did look great a few years back but always got the impression he was a home boy who'd play well for Schalke but struggle elsewhere.  He was on loan at Juve last season and didn't play I think, no idea how that happened though.

Hopefully Digne turns out to be the Klassen money we'll spent. A good season from him, at 25, and he'll easily be worth what we originally paid out for Davy

Mundo Deportivo expect it to be announced on Monday as Digne is still in America.

Suppose we can get the medical done out there (hopefully not at that quack place that Karius went to) :)

Pedro Delgado. 21 year old Sporting midfielder being linked

https://www.alfredopedulla.com/esclusiva-leverton-pedro-delgado-previsto-un-incontro-londra/

Pedro Delgado is a midfielder of excellent quality, class '97, with a recent past with Inter. There were some talks with Italian companies but they did not go to port. The novelty is represented by the insertion of Everton that would like to aim for us, a precise request by Marco Silva, in the Portuguese case, like the young Delgado. Next week there will be an outing in London and Everton may decide to speed up. ( Google translate )
We are special ,we are Everton.

Wait a minute... I thought Brands was the one who was supposed to be pulling rabbits out of hats for us. Why is Silva doing the grunt work?

Sounds like Brands is starting to influence the transfers coming into the club

He has been here a couple of months now. I'd like to think he started a long time ago.

Wesley is a big strong striker who can hold the ball up and knows where the goal is, but is a bit clumsy and I have never really seen wether he has any real speed? He does have a knack of being in the right place at the right time though!
