Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Happy enough with this. Regardless of those trying to put a negative spin on his PL record there's no doubt that he's highly regarded, ambitious and players who have worked with him speak highly of him and his methods. We've got him and Brands in early as well so they can now start working together to sort the squad (and no doubt moral) in time for the start of pre season.

Anyone reckon we'll get any players in before the World Cup?

You'd like to think Brands, Silva and the board have been in contact discussing such things before these official announcements like.

They confirmed he'd be kept on as part of the coaching team

So much to be positive about ,the timing has been almost as fast as they could ,so no problem there .They have obviously had a few locked horn sessions and seem to be happy with each other reading off the same page .They both want to bring youth through ,if they are up to it and they both want us to attack .Off to battle with the bishop -back in two minutes.

Reckon Ross Barkley will be thinking, wish I'd stayed now?

Also, this has defo been happening for a while. Brands' interview about him on the OS was carried out at PSV last week.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.
