John Henry thinks the "bigger" sides should get  more of the media money than the rest.... Is this the beginning of a break away?

They’ve been pushing this for a while.

Happens in Spain, where a lot of people continually point to here and say how much better our system is...

Tbf Utd and L’pool clearly have bigger audiences around the world.

But city, Chelsea, Spurs and to an extent Arsenal are just coincidental that they’re doing well now (eg league viewing figures wouldn’t change if we were in Spurs’ place).

Mayor Farnum

Became more likely when some of the Premier League overseas packages went unsold at the last round of TV rights sales.
Ultimately the big clubs, certainly United and Liverpool, will want each club to sell all their rights individually. We would be fucked if that happened.

Didnt Everton vote against this last time? But some dickeheads like West Ham and Southampton sided with the super rich.

Wonder if they’ll be a change of heart from them and us this time?

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

Interesting that Amazon have entered the market.

20 games split into 2 fixtures ie one whole set of (bank holiday) games and one midweek set.

Guess they’ll see how it goes but this type of company has the ability to swamp sky, particularly if they can agree worldwide exclusivity deals.

At least both sets are in December so only have to fork out for the one month subscription, depending on which games are actually on of course....

Ahhhh Scudamore is leaving, so his last act will be to fiddle the revenue so the big teams get a bigger slice, meaning they'll never be challenged again
