I'm with you. We'll have to sell him summer 2022.

So he'll never grace our new stadium? That would be sad

If it does, we will look back at this moment and blame you...

Ha!

Doesn't even rank in the top 500 of things I've been blamed for.

the big distinction is timing I think

If your defence and midfield is good, and you develop a super star they have a platform to shine AND the club kick on.

If your defence and midfield still have gaping holes in them and you develop a superstar, you sell him for big money as the boat fills with more water behind you.
I sort of agree, but it hasnt necessarily always been the quality of defence and midfield that's let us down, we had some good players but managers that cant organise a defensive unit, like Martinez and Silva.

We have Carlo now. He has his preferred style but he's not unreasonable with a "philosophy", he'll do what it takes to get the result and he has us organised again.

The manager has always been the key first ingredient we've been missing. I feel like if we can now build some quality at the back and through the middle, we can push on.

Yes definitely agree, coach and back office has to be right.

1. Smart recruitment that recruits to suit the coach.

2. Right coach who is on board with the recruitment.

3. Solid spine, good age.

4. Keep trading up where you can.

5. Super star attackers.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I've had a few near misses and wtf's in my time. 500 though! You must have been wrong at least once? :)

Just a knock I think.

At worst he might have a nasty cut that keeps him out at the weekend.

From BBC Sport...

"Since the start of last season, Neymar (28) is the only Brazilian player with more goals than Everton's Richarlison (24) in the top five European leagues."

One angle looked like he turned his ankle, not sure it was the contact that was the issue, but a tweaked ankle.
