This Foden lad doesn’t look out of place in the Man City team, impressive for an 18 year old

Never seen Jorginho play before, he’s misplaced quite a few passes so far

Barkley doing the square root of fuck all as usual, can’t see him getting back that spark he once had

Rather on his own here. Fabregas hasn’t got the legs anymore and Barkley is just sort of running around not affecting anything.

Think Kante makes a massive difference

Martinez was onto something playing him out on the right of a front three.

He’s pretty much getting bypassed in the middle here a bit like Siggy yesterday

All I'll say is thank the Lord above for City and Guardiola, because they should keep the other lot away from the Premier League title this season again (and hopefully beyond).

You’d think Crouch would do the right thing and retire

Martinez was onto something playing him out on the right of a front three.

Was Koeman who played him there mainly in the second half of 16/17.

RM did use him somewhere like that in that 3-0, no subs loss at Southampton, when we also had Eto’o and Naismith all stood in the same 10 yards of space in the middle so it was quite hard to see who was where :eh:

Said it before and will say it again. Barkley needs to play the same position as a Bale or a Ronaldo. Drive at defenders and shoot. He is not a midfielder.

Always thought this too. But seems to have lost the running speed and doesn’t have the raw desire to score that those two do.

Maybe but it’s his best chance of being a top player.
