What are you expecting? Trip to Wembley maybe? What do you want to see us achieve this year? Where will we finish?

Norwich 3-0 15th May 2016
Watford 3-2 5th Nov 2017

I'd be ok with that as long as the football was showing signs of improving and we look like we have some direction..

A lot depends on where we are at personnel wise at the end of the window.

If we still have Lookman (or another potentially exciting winger) and a CB, who is better than Rojo and Mee with really good pace, and a CM better than Schneiderlin, and a striker to at least challenge Tosun, then 6th-8th (yep, I said 6th)

Without all that, anywhere from 9th-15th is possible.

7th for me.

I feel we will get the right signings we need, well more hopefully.

A trophy of any kind would be nice but they are always a lottery.

I would like to see us play attractive football again but also with a bit of steel in the side - all well and good being good to watch but not at the expense of goals against.

A good cup run in both or either cups and finishing 6th or 7th would be nice too.

I also want us to turn up in the game against the so-called big teams and especially in the derby games and not just make up the numbers - a win at either ground would shut those overly gloating fans across the park up for a while.

Silva and Brands need time to sort out years of crap and I think they have made a good start - a lot of deadwood has been moved out and the players bought in so far have addressed some of the areas that are weak.

Should really be a thread for the 10th once we see how the squad looks.

I want us to have some shots, and not look like we're going to concede every time the opposition have the ball.

I'd also like us to be a bit more patient with the players, and not boo them in the first 10 minutes of games.  Even Schneiderlin.

Honestly, I think it depends on the Silva effect.

If hes half of what hes cracked up to be we should piss 7th.

If it comes down to squad quality on paper then 7th - 12th imo
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

7th at best.
9th at worst.

No silverware.

9th or 8th* and better football with one or two of Wolves, West Ham or Leicester finishing above us.

Although I expect that I will still be disapointed, really want us in Europe again.

As for cup runs, who knows, it would be nice to go far in both of the cups and at the very least take both the FA and League Cup seriously, play a full strength team and try and win them.

*Assumes we sign at least 2 first team players in the next week.
