He's signing for us lads. Silva's been the deciding factor.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Yeah they’ve just mentioned it on the tv channel ( the twitter page not the Chelsea interest)

Still calling bullshit though. If there was anything in it, would be on their website and “breaking news” on the yellow bar on tv

More than most, you have to take these breaking Sky stories with a pinch of salt. It pays them to put doubt in peoples minds who like a gamble. They're the worst offenders of a stinking gambling industry. Nothing wrong with a reasonable bet. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there who are addicted to gambling, and Sky, amongst others know it. "According to Sky sources". There's nothing to back that up unless it happens, if it doesn't, all they've done is rinsed people with a dose of vapid bullshit.

Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

Course he hasn't been told Usmanov's coming. He'll be playing for a Portuguese speaking manager (unlike at Chelsea), who clearly has a certain degree of charisma and persuasiveness. Allied to that he will play every week (unlike at Chelsea), earn big wages in a top league, and will have a release clause if things go really well for him.

Richarlison said Silva is like a father, Digne said once he met the people at Everton he was convinced, and now we're hearing that Silva was the decisive factor in this deal.

I think he might actually be some kind of wizard or warlock.

Beats the dinosaur we had last season.

Or he gives lovely reassuring hugs.

I'm literally running out of superlatives to describe this man.

I expect Blue Bill to rack up at some point and claim all credit.

Only joking. Not heard from Bill for ages. Hope he’s ok.

With big Marcel stood in the background with the paperwork looking cool as fuck in his sharp suit.

We've moved on a bit from dour Koeman in his trackies, Allardyce and his pints of wine and I have no idea what people even made of the embarrassment that was Steve Walsh.

I’m very nervous that this won’t happen.
I have to return some videotapes.

Vamos lá Everton!

I'm literally running out of superlatives to describe this man.

I mean, let's hope he gets the football on the pitch right before we carry him down County Road, but it certainly helps to have a manager with a strong personal charisma and ability to communicate/sell a move, when you're trying to attract big players.
