Always said hes a better player when he got an a ball winner next to him, was brilliant when we had Gana, struggled last season and then had the injury, pretty confident we'll see the best of him again this season now he's got better players around him

played ok for the first 10 minutes and then stunk the place out like he has for most of his Everton career.

He is a defensive midfielder who never wins the ball.
He is a creative midfielder who doesn't create anything.
He is a box to box midfielder who does not run around much.

None the above would matter if he didn't slow everything down so much every time he got the ball.

In English football like 30 years ago, when everyone played 4 4 2 with a couple of yard dogs in central midfield, a dude who could amble around and pass the ball sideways was a big thing like Jan Molby.

Haha fucking clueless you

Imagine preferring Davies or Delph ahead of Gomes, fucking hell!

Easily to both for me

All about opinions I know, but for me an out of form Gomes is still a far better option / player than Davies and Delph.
