That's great - I just Googled it and last season they finished 14th which was only 2 places above relegation. They were only 5 points above a relegation playoff place.

we’re currently 2 places above relegation too

Yup, our own Stevie Wonder, in an ageing PE teacher’s tracksuit.

At £5m he was worth a punt.

At six figures a week for five years he really wasn't.

Anyone know how these guys are getting on? From what I can tell:

Jonjo Kenny seems like he's smashing it in Germany with Schalke.
Sandro still hasn't scored and is presumably doing shite for Real Valladolid
Dowell can't get a game for Derby, presumably because he doesn't put himself about enough. Derby are doing shite this season so I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing.
Viginia is sitting on the bench for Reading after a couple of early disasters and Reading have since binned their Portuguese manager.
Garbutt (lol) is actually doing well for Ipswich.
Josh Bowler doesn't seem to making much noise at Hull.
Broadhead has scored a few for Burton and seems like he's doing well down there.
Besic is at Sheff United apparently.
Pennington is apparently at Hull.
Hornby doing something in Belgium
Connolly at Lincoln.
Bolasie can't get a game for a horrific Sporting Lisbon side.
Finally found the thread where I said Deulofeu wasn't all that.

We will see in a few years where he is at. I'm betting he'll be at a worse club than Everton rather than at Barcelona.

Currently at Watford.

Bolasie has started their last 6 or 7 up front and scored the winner in the Europa League in midweek...

I just saw two league appearances tbf mate.

one goal doesn't sound too impressive.

Dowell training with Derby u23s according to twitter like.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I’ve been patient and hopeful for years with this kid. But I’m kinda feeling his “Osman style” late bloom may not actually be the reality of the situation.

Dowell has no chance of a career with us. He’s failed now at 2 championship clubs back to back. Not good enough and never will be
