He was boss at pointing.

Typical Moyes buy, a "professional" who was actually shit at professional football.

Moyes record in the transfer market was awful, absolutely no profit on anyone at all....

Just didnt rate neville at all myself.

Thought he lived off his reputation at man united and was very fortunate to play for as long as he did.

Neville's job was to get the ball off the opposition and give it to someone who could play football.

Somehow he got the armband and added pointing and screaming to that role.

Hated the thought of him signing at first, but he grafted and we deffo had nobody better to play there at the time, just have never understood any dislike of him

A reputation he only gained by latching onto the class of 92.
I'm more trusting of fellas when they have my cock in their mouth

Utter bollocks, lucky as they were to have so many players so young to come through at the same time to form mostly a full team, they had no passengers, Phil Neville played his part in making Ferguson look a far better manager than he actually was.

Thought neville done a decent job for us tbf,  never shirked or went hiding,  apart from one freak season weve had no direction or leadership on the pitch since he left

Limited player in terms of talent, but couldnt fault his effort on the pitch and commitment to things in the community. A good DM on his day. I dont rate his punditry but seems like a nice fella.

Crazy how stuck up some fans can be.

Sorry, did I just see a sentence saying Phil Neville helped Alex Ferguson look a better manager than he actually was?

All over right there.

Yes you mis read it, or just twisting it for the crowd, which ever. At least we've never paid over 40 million for an average player like him....oh wait.
