Re instant progression City didnít make much in Guardiolaís first season, similarly them with Klopp and Pochettino finished 1 place higher (ie us dropping to 11th) but with less points than Sherwood managed the season prior.

All with more solid bases and resources than we have.

Were people not excepting these teething problems?

Itís not like shit results at home to teams worse than us is something unique to silva. Itís been happening for the last three years.

We got played off the park by Burnley last season.

Performances and the way we play has for me been very encouraging and I see the signs of progression.

I reckon thereís quite a few players he wishes he could just fuck off but has no choice but to use them at the moment.

No shit.
? People can still choose to be negative towards him even after a good result, im saying he may win a lot of people over with 3pts there.

I have to say after West Ham I was more pissed off and being absolutely honest - donít think any manager has many home thrashingís in the bank so a few more of them and he would be in trouble to be frank.

But the arsenal and Fulham games gave me some perspective and optimism, as well as to be fair highlighting some of the red flags that come with it, but Iím much more confident going forward.

Someone mentioned earlier that Brands and Silva have had one window and made the squad better - that alone is a massive, massive positive and a good sign for the future.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Evertonians have no patience anymore, loads expect instant success cos we've now got a bit of money, honestly I reckon we are the worst fans in the Prem, hate saying that like.

I donít think people are negative at all, certainly not in here. Iíve seen some right idiots on Twitter but on here I think itís more frustration coming out in some peopleís posts.
There have been teething problems itís fair to say and weíve not seen us play well for a full 90 minutes yet but hopefully itíll come.

Although his main concern now has to be sorting out that central midfield area with what we have until the next window.

Frustration, our worst enemy

Expect more teething problems and another year of hurt

You have to master Plan A before you can go to Plan B. It might take a season or so to do that, in all seriousness. Liverpool were average under Klopp in his first season, Guardiola struggled to mould the City squad in his first season.

(Also it's not even particularly true, because we played differently at Arsenal than we have in our home games. We gave up possession and made our game about the transition. In the home games, we're playing with the ball much more)

This emphasises my point though....the arsenal game for probably 50 mins overall out of 90 we were ok we lost a goal and within minutes lost the second from there it was downhill....consolidate after the first goal for 5/10 mins and start again....we were the better side up to the first goal....then we werenít...no game management ....and they werenít the arsenal side of old...very poor and we still lost by 2 goals

Discussions on here and in the pub can sometimes be negative towards the players and manager, but it's sometimes a fair assessment and itís good to talk about all things Everton.

But at the game that all needs to be left behind. Yeah you might be right that a certain player is a bit shit, but just get behind them anyway because it's only gonna help the team. I'll never understand the mindless bell ends that give our own players shit.

Innit?

We need to be 100% behind them as well because it's in everyone's best interests that Silva and Brands work out.

Because if it doesn't then I've got absolutely no idea where we go from there.

Those fans, are mindless bellends. That's why you can never understand them. That's a compliment btw. :)

We need to give Silva 3 years.

This season is primarily to reshape the squad and adapt to his style of football. The second is to build on this season, and the third we all expect to start seeing some results.

We need to think longer term with these two guys at the helm, and I am really positive about it, even with a couple of poor results so far this season. There is very little to be negative about at this stage.
