There's work to be done in defence and the middle what is reassuring is that the players that Brands and Silva have bought have really made a difference so there is hope that Mina and Gomes can too.

Fantastic win.

To actually start an attacking side and also making a bold move as soon as they went down to ten men.

Theos decision making cost us that game being a 3/4-1.

That was more like it, Blues.  I needed it after that fucking week.

Richarlison was great today.  So aware of what to do and when.

Silva deserves all the credit in the second half after the red card. Quickly took off Davies and put Siggy deeper to create more. Best bit of in-game management I have seen in a long time from an Everton manager.

Ill say it again, but recruitment of the players weve seen so far has been the difference. All the new players making a difference.

If we can recruit as well for the other positions that need improving then well be doing ok.

Simon Paul

good win to get before the international break

throw that away and it leaves a really bad taste with no chance to recover for a fortnight

Should have been more comfortable but definite signs of progression and a good win in the end. Bernard and Sigurdsson difference makers in this team. I didn't know much about Bernard but he needs to be involved every week.

Get in there you blues.

Absolutely STUNNING strike from Sigurdsson. Ill be honest - I was worried it was looking like one of his one or two touch per 10 mins, <30 passes 90 mins type games but fuck me can he strike a ball from 30 yards mate.

Goal of the month already, goal of the season contender tbh.
