It's Turkey nonsense or reality of the Everton subs bench

Danny Wellbeck? One for the treatment room, but not ours

I quite like Cenk, but he's going to have to start banging them in, as he's a striker. That's his primary reason for inclusion in the team. Yes, that's stating the obvious, but it really is that simple. Silva won't be happy with him at this point in time and is reflected in the fact that Richarlison is taking the strikers role. In terms of goals scored, he's not doing much more than Niasse, "if at all". I think we'll buy a striker in January if his goal tally doesn't improve. I'm starting to have doubts as to whether he's good enough, but have tended to forget that he's not been here for a year yet. That needs to be taken into account. If we do sell him, I can't see that happening till the summer, as he happens to be the best of an average bunch.

Agree we should give him a chance to prove himself, has scored as many goals this season as Sanchez and he’s on 400,000 a week.

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I kind of feel like it's Everton tradition to never have a striker that bangs them in. And on the very rare occasions that we do, to hound him out the club.

It does happen. Supporters were always moaning about Lukaku's workrate, amongst other things. He will have to start scoring soon, or his place in the side will be in question. I like him as a player personally, but we could then maybe, compare him with the way Bernard is settling in. Digne's took to the premier like a duck to water. It does throw up obvious comparisons, I think it's fair to point out he needs to get his shooting boots on. I don't want him gone though, unless, what we have from him atm is going to be it.

It’s been a recurring theme with Utd and Belgium fans as well.

In fact an awful lot of pundits and commentators say too.

He's deeply unpopular on the Utd forum I sometimes read.

I'm not saying it is, or isn't justified. 20 odd goals a season in the premier, is what you pay 80-90 mill for. Just a basic question, if we got Lukaku back still scoring 20 odd goals a season, would anyone still be complaining? I wouldn't.

Certainly wouldn't be.....lukaku was a clinical target him who could also run the channels. Tosun is an average target man  from what I've seen and certainly not mobile or clever enough to offer anything else.

Not been on their forums but you hear it on mainstream media as well.

If we had that sort of money for a striker I’d hope to see us bring somebody else in with a fresh start and without the obvious character flaws he’s got, not that he or his agent would ever consider it.

Anyway I was just pointing out that with 3 completely different sets of supporters and the varying degrees  aspirations and expectations there’s a common theme running through the general criticism of Lukaku.
