Everton's new midfielder Bernard says that although it would be nice to play for Brazil again, he is concentrating on playing well for Everton.

He was one of the scapegoats for the 7-1 v Germany and hasn’t been seen since. Very impressed with what he had done here though.

He was one of the scapegoats for the 7-1 v Germany and hasn’t been seen since. Very impressed with what he had done here though.

If he replicates his earlier Shakhtar form with us he'll 100% get a chance again, he's clearly a talent but if you have a nightmare and are playing in a lower quality league it's easy to be ignored.

It's pretty obvious when you read this, why Bernard disappeared into the woodwork in Ukraine. The little fellas had a bit of a tough time of it all. Now hopefully, Evertonians are going to see what he's got. By the sounds of this he's straining at the leash to get going. Looking forward to this guy lighting up the league for us. :)
