it's a firm No from me

the money is extortionate and what exactly does he do these days anyways?

I think Arsenal have a very good manager and he is weeding out a certain cohort of inconsistent egotistical players

Gary Neville has shown plenty clips of this guy walking around the pitch not giving a fuck, swerve

I don't think you can say he's a bad player because he's clearly not, but is he worth that money given he has no resale value and is older? Saying that if he was the link to push us forward, adding another goalscorer than maybe it's worth it? Brain says maybe but heart says not really.

Tearing you boys a new arsehole the last time I watched him :)

Sorry, couldn't resist. He was actually culpable of an awful defensive mistake in that game.

Gomes is on loan and will be gone at the end of the season once we have brought him back to full fitness.

Not at Barce, they have already brought in Artur as his replacement.

I dont think hes as good as made out by some.

Been a while since hes stood out to me.

I can see him making a step down when he leaves Arsenal.

In his and many peoples eyes a move to Everton would be a step down.

Think, money aside, he would be a great signing.  Wales would have got to the final of the Euros if he played in the semis, was a bigger loss than Bale during that tournament.

And if what you got for around 50mil (wages included) a few years back was Klassen or Bolasie, its a fucking bargain!

You'd like to think this kind of signing left the club when Brands took over. He's decent but not a game changer. If we're spending the kind of money he'd be asking for you want someone who'll improve over the length of his contract not decline.

Would be happy with his signing, but I would hope that Brands will have identified the next Ramsey, rather than the 27/28yo Ramsey.
Yes, we're being condescending. Yes, that means we're talking down to you.

He has a purple patch of half a dozen games every 3 years where hes boss and scores loads of goals. Then he gets injured and goes back to being a bit meh.

Arsenal have struggled to crack the top 4 with Theo and ramsey. Why are we slowly buying Arsenal players?
Farhad Moshiri, Alisher Usmanov, Cenk Tosun, Muhamed Besic, Idrissa Gana Gueye, Ademola Lookman, Oumar Niasse, David Henen, Barack Hussein Obama, Confucius... Everton Muslims growing stronger...
