Considering we were meant to be Submitting a planning app this year itís fair to assume something major has changed with the project. Could it be that itís now a little more ambitious and even more generously funded?

Is a "planning application" the same as a building Permit?

................no, one follows the other . A planning application covers the design and layout of buildings and approval may be granted subject to all kinds of conditions . Then the  actual construction is subject to Building Regs which are applied and inspected in stages by the local council.
Trying to be positive ,the more objections that can be ironed out before submitting a planning application ,the more chance it will go through . It looks like another year before the club actually submit the planning application though, as mentioned by Andy Hunter in the Grauniad.

This guy is the biggest waste of oxygen going, I honestly hate him, and his band of morons that hang on his every tweet. Anyone actually know him in person? If you do, next time you meet him tell him "James from the internet says you're a cunt". It'll cut deep, I'm sure.

I think it is better that the club does everything right and then delivers a superb stadium that opens when it is scheduled to do so and does not have last minute hiccups, like say the electrics not passing safety regulations.
