The Yak loved the "Bainaar” partnership at Everton, but it could have been a trio!

Evertonians raved about the left-sided pairing of Steven Pienaar and Leighton Baines for years, but former striker Yakubu has hinted that perhaps we should have included him in our praise!

YaBainAar was my suggestion

He had a good laugh like.

Asked him who he liked playing against if he needed a goal and he chuckled "oh I liked Fulham. And Stoke. I could score against those"

Who would you rather have at their peak?

1 The Yak
2 Lukaku
3 Richarlison

Richarlison isnt at his peak so we dont know how good he can be. I recon Richarlison will end up being the best out the three.
I have to return some videotapes.

Vamos l Everton!

Richarlison is also a different type of player to the other two - Yak and Rom are both number out and out 9s. Richarlison is more versatile, and although he obviously came up with the goods in the last game, I'm still not convinced thats his best position (more than happy to be proved wrong though of course!)

We do forget easily all the times when the Yak really couldn't be arsed on a football pitch for a whole game. Other times he'd watch a ball roll past him 5 yards away and not bother moving for it then for whatever reason a few minutes later he'd burst into life and roll one into the bottom corner with a big smile on his face.

I also loved when he just completely took out Raul Mirelles in the derby that time, just full on body checked him and Mirelles went down like a steaming pile of wasp shite, just a basic shoulder barge but The Yak was a complete Unit.
