So tomorrow it's the first leg of the Copa Libertadores between Boca and River Plate.  One of if not the most intense rivalries in football in the most massive scenario possible.  This is being shown on UK tv tomorrow, and the 2nd leg next Saturday both at 8pm on BT Sport 2 and also FreeSports.

If you know your footy this is something that can't be missed, but it's not been advertised much over here.  I've always loved Boca due to their working class roots, Maradona, and their incredible stadium.  I have an agreement with an Argentinian fella I know in the States that I'll follow Boca and he'll follow Everton, and he's literally nearly given himself a heart attack already  lolol  Would recommend if you have any chance that you watch this one.

The rivalry is on another level.  Just a shame away fans are banned from both legs.

I love La Bombonera. There wasn't a game on when I visited Buenos Aires but I still took the time to do a quick stadium tour. The area is a far cry from the more affluent side of the city, it's class!

Big news from Argentina.

The first leg of the Copa Libertadores final between Boca Juniors and River Plate, scheduled to start at 20:00 GMT, has been suspended because of torrential rain and flooding in Buenos Aires.

A possible new date is next Saturday, a week before the second leg. Neither side has any players who have been called up for international duty next week.

We'll bring you more as we have it.
I have to return some videotapes.

Vamos lá Everton!

Same here, Threave Rovers v Mid Annandale was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

It's not a big game, if was St Cuthbert Wanders v Threave that would have been big news. :)
