One of the reasons I want Sheff Utd to come up; so Phil can enjoy a swansong there in the PL.
Yes, we're being condescending. Yes, that means we're talking down to you.

I love Jags so definitely agree it's the end of an era.  He's been a brilliant servant and seemed to just really 'get' us.

Excellent pro, never kicked up a fuss to leave when Arsenal were sniffing around, and prior to that knee injury was every bit as good as the absolute best in the league at that time... And after a period of getting back to almost his best continued to be a top player for us for a long time.

Probably one of my favourite players in recent times, as much for just being a perfect pro as his actual performances on the pitch

Reunion with Warnock would be more likely.

Blades fans would love him back. Might be less exposed in a back 3 as well.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Off into the sunset with Bainsey as joint managers somewhere, next summer

Sheff Wed would suit 'em

Or Bolton

Sad when a great servant comes to an end but that's the game. I remember when we signed him and played him defensive mid... He was awful and I thought why did we buy him... He then went to CB and found his position and excelled there. Hope he keeps playing but I doubt it'll be for us anymore. Cheers Jags!!

Arguably one of our best signings of the premier league era.

Would still be a mid-table level defender I think, if given the time to get back up to speed somewhere, but physically heís really gone off a ledge I think and thereís no coming back to where he once was.

What a fucking shame we never won anything with players like him. A real travesty imo.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Or could go to the Academy side, either at Sheff Utd or  Everton. Or possibly team up with Chris Morgs, his friend.   Whatever he's offered, or chooses to do, I wish him luck. A Captains legend..........
