Here you go @brap2 I can see Gomes smashing these figures easy ...after a settling in period just like Arteta who I loved btw .

Any cost he's exactly were we should be heading player wise ....make it so Marcel lad, you marvelous bastard .

Andre Gomesís best goal total so far is 5 goals in 41 games.

Gomes is capable of running a game in a way Arteta never could. Not to say one is better than the other theyíre just two quite different players.

Arteta genuinely twice the player.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I liked Arteta, but Gomes is a better player imo. He can pass and hold the ball as well as Arteta, but where Arteta would drop to the floor (mostly getting a free kick) Gomes will ride the tackle/beat a man/men, and continue advancing or play a better pass. He is also a bit better in the tackle. There's not much in it, but Gomes is a better midfielder.

And EVEN better looking - so that pips it for me.

We play with much more momentum when Gomes plays definately.

Different players with different roles in the team for both of them. I really like Gomes - especially as, based on yesterday's evidence, he doesn't go missing in big games

Not having that.

Gomes is very good like, just Arteta was something else for me. A lot more dynamic in the final 3rd.

That's because he's more of a holding midfielder for us, rather than an Arteta like central/attacking mid who had more of a licence to move into the oppositions third. Siggy does that job for us, so Gomes has to hold back a little to balance it out. Its hard to compare them like for like, as they have different styles, but if I had to choose one to go in this current Everton midfield (at the same age), it would be Gomes - every time. He's top class and no wonder he belongs to Barcelona.

For now.... ;)

Youís are all mad honestly.

Totally convinced by this lad because he can dribble.

Still hasnít scored or assisted or actually done anything like but donít let that distract you from his nice beard.

Barry was a better passer and better tackler.

Arteta was different gravy all together.
