Yeah, we were quite explicit in the "younger kids on less wages from now on" mantra.

Similarly the "We're not buying anybody in January unless it is to replace a 1st teamer we can't persuade to stay" means all these links are bollocks.

The structure is based around having a head coach to develop players.

So lets allow him to get that right first before introducing new faces.
Not at all interested in being popular

Very interested in saying/doing what's right for Everton FC.

We may agree/disagree but its all about opinions/debate and thats what makes football/supporting Everton amazing.

So we wanted him, just not that much

Thats how it reads, which makes me think its BS. Why would we try to sign a player were not that arsed about on a permanent deal, if you want him you do all you can to get him irrespective.

U know what the price we have named on Tosun?? See that Solanke went for 19 mil. should we excpect around 25-30 for Tosun?? Niasse I would say we should be happy with 10 mil...

Wouldn’t expect any offers for Niasse. We will loan him out until he’s out of contract imo.

Good luck getting that for tosun.

We’ve put a 20mil price tag on him.

If he goes it’ll be for 15-18mil.
Hey there mister can you tell me what happened to the seeds I've sown
Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

Could well be, but if we can't get more than that for him I would say it is bad buisness... But time will tell I guess  :eh:

Take it. Write off the difference alongside all that other cash Allardyce cost us.

Tbf to Allardyce Tosun did well under him, and Walcott was decent too.  The issue is neither seems suited to Silva's system.

Not sure you can blame Allardyce as they were the right players for him.  You could maybe blame the board for sanctioning the deals, but we needed those signings to stay out of trouble.

I'd say no one is really to blame personally, they made an impact when we bought them, and now probably both need to be moved on.

Precisely what I’m saying. It falls under the Allardyce costs. Get what we can and move on.
