We can laugh but this sort of fee shows why our scouting focus needs to be abroad. Mental.

If Bournemouth have got 25mil to drop on a striker why don't they just sign someone good?

I cant believe they're getting that for him.

Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them

How dare you!

Nathan Ake - 20m
Jordan Ibe - 16m
Benik Afobe - 12m
Asmir Begovic - 10m
Tyrone Mings - 10m
Max Gradel - 9m
Lewis Grabban - 8.5m
Lee Tomlin - 4m

All money well spent!  :snigger:

I Like Ake. Good player with potential.
Not at all interested in being popular

Very interested in saying/doing what's right for Everton FC.

We may agree/disagree but its all about opinions/debate and thats what makes football/supporting Everton amazing.

And you only find that out by giving him time and not flapping at the first bad run of results

Im happy to give him time. Ive never said otherwise. Just that its been pretty crap so far.

Says were interested along with West Ham and Watford.

They were happy to sell in the summer coming, but limited use so far has meant that an offer above 10m would allow him to leave now.

Lots of reports he's on the verge of signing for Arsenal.

lol at people who slate DCL are the same ones saying Solanke isn't worth 19m.

its the market English strikers (players in general) cost more.

also Solanke has played for the England team, whilst DCL hasn't.

I love DCL, but Solanke, from what I had seen of him in the under 21/23/ world cup winning team, is a much better striker.
Unsworth has a 100% League record at home
Norwich 3-0 15th May 2016
Watford 3-2 5th Nov 2017
West Ham 4-0 29th Nov 2017
To Be Continued.....

You mean the DCL who played better in the World Cup winning team ? Who was played more after winning the World Cup as well? (And scores the winning goal) who has also played more premier league games than Solanke, DCL has played more has shown more, in the small amount of games Solanke has played there is no reason to state he is worth more!! Solanke cost more because he played for Liverpool, if we bought Solanke I would be pissed off, I seriously do not see why people hype him up! Why he was picked by Southgate??? No one but Southgate knows he did nothing to prove why he was picked, I do know that at the time it was confirmed a lot of footballing experts thought Solanke over DCL who had played better at under 20 level and playing games for his club was a strange decision.

Comforting in a way that a player we're after ends up at Arsenal rather than choosing us over West Ham and Watford.
