I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Yeah I'm going cottaging with these two cunts at the end of our game.

Again?

Not saying it was akin to a punch by Tyson. There was contact, drew blood, and he stayed down (for a bit of time wasting). Not going to fault him when everyone in top flight would likely do the same if they were up in a match.

It was the theatrics, man, hes doing it all the time, and hes getting nowhere with them.

He was definitely harshly treated at the start of the season, so I understand where his frustration is coming from, but he is starting to get a boy who cried wolf rep

A spiraling Bournemouth at home next week then away to Southampton and Huddersfield. Good opportunity to get in a rhythm.

Theyre the sort of pressing sides that worry me right now

Everyone presses to a certain extent these days.

Even Newcastle etc.

Exactly. Everyone worries me.

He is definitely gaining that reputation. Won't argue that with you. And a lot of the times he is over the top.

In this situation I just view it more as time wasting than anything else. However, more times than not when he goes down now and moans I just want hime to get up and go on with it. I def get your point of view on it.

Yeah, its both cringe and ineffective

Haha. Fair enough.

There arent any easy games when youre at our level, certainly not at the start.

There arent any easy games when your attacking play is predictable with little end product

It was a pretty comfortable win but we are poor in the final third. While I don't disagree that Sigurdsson can be anonymous we have so little chance of scoring without him it's ridiculous

Yeah, both points are true.

Thats why I wouldnt mind him played upfront in a 4-3-3

Touch isnt consistent enough for a ST and the physical aspect is completely different (both hold up play and running channels).

Wed have to play some sort of weird inverted diamond, I think

His touch cant be worse than DCLs lately.

I dunno, he spends enough time during games as the furthest man forward, at least if he was the #9 we could either get another midfielder on the field, or have a three behind him of Richarlison, Bernard and Lookman/Walcott

Yeah I suppose, but if we played 3 behind it wouldnt be any different from now, other than if Bernard was at 10 but then theyd probably get in each others way a bit.

In reality another midfielder would probably just mean Davies and say Richarlison and Walcott wide

Midfield balance behind (and prob needs different players to what we have) will force a decision on Sig.

Yeah, I would prefer a 4-3-3 to be honest, especially now when we are struggling
