Still can't get any proper money for him.

Watch him score two in ten minutes, then another two in ten games, probably get dropped and still people will be raving about what a successful loan spell it's been and we should have kept him. ;)

This is the type of deal you do last minute. Too early in the window to entertain a loan.

My thoughts too.

But the optimist in me is stating that Brands said there wouldn't be much movement in without outgoing first, maybe we have a striker lined up and need the wages off the books asap?

he'll get 5 or 6 goals between now and the end of the season just through sheer persistence and work rate.

They just need to ignore his first touch and stick with him, he'll get goals through nicking the ball off defenders and finishing with his bollocks or something

strangest striker ever

Thing is we don't have much to gain from just sanctioning the loan. He's not great so they wont want to buy him after they 've sampled the goods so we should have held our nerve.

Can’t believe I once said Sandro’s signing was ‘potentially seminal’.

Destined to go on loan until his contract expires. He’s useful in short bursts but not useful enough for anyone to pay actual money for his services permanently.

We should take Martinez to court for this transfer. He should be made to pay Niasse's wages personally, until the contract ends
