Didn't they try and sign him last year as well and he couldn't agree terms?

Hopefully he goes, pretty obvious that he's not got much future here under Silva. We're needing a striker and he still can't get a game.

Was it this time 2 years back?

You could well be right, I'm sure it was January but it might have been 2 years ago.

To think we bought him for £13.5m

Show's how much we had our pants pulled that even in these inflated times we're going to lose money on him.

Agree canít start but impact sub is a role for him

It's not though, he's barely even getting that. His run out v Brighton was more deperation from Silva than anything else and it's obvious he doesn't rate him or figure in his plans. Better to try and get some money for him and move him on.

Still can't get any proper money for him.

Watch him score two in ten minutes, then another two in ten games, probably get dropped and still people will be raving about what a successful loan spell it's been and we should have kept him. ;)

but for a lazy-as-shit penalty we'd have been in the FA Cup Final in his last season, and not relegated (because we were already safe)

the club took too long though and genuinely weren't going to even think of sacking him until he lost the derby game so heavily.  absolutely crazy that.  imagine if he'd "only" got beat by 2 and then Lukaku took a penalty properly....no chance he'd have been given the boot by that board at that point.

Just think, we'd be about year behind where we are just now as he'd have got sacked the following season and Sam Allardyce would still be our manager.

Honest to god why the fuck did that bald cunt spend nearly 14mil on him?

If you have that money to spend (still a decent amount back then) why would you spend it on someone who plays like his boots are on the wrong feet?

It'll be a sad day if we ever see him in an Everton shirt again.

If he ever plays for us again we really have fucked up our search for a top striker.
