Can anyone remember if we were linked with any strikers in the summer?

BREAKING NEWS

Everton are interested in Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi - but only if they can have him on a permanent deal, according to Sky sources.

The Belgium striker is set to return from his loan spell at Valencia this month after struggling to make an impact and the Toffees are keen if they can unload one of either Cenk Tosun or Oumar Niasse this month.

Everton, who aleady have defender Kurt Zouma on loan from Stamford Bridge, cannot take Batshuayi on loan due to restrictions on the number of players one club can have from another.

No brainer at that price, sell Oumar to Palace/Cardiff/whoever and bring Batshuayi in. Look at the chances wasted in recent weeks, particularly the balls across the area in the Leicester game late on and the simple chance Tosun wasted last week, a player like Batshuayi would have gobbled them up with ease

Be happy if we’re getting him in first due to the cut price rather than him being our first option. Would much rather him starting for now and then being backup next season in place of Niasse/Tosun once Brands gets his man in the summer

Bit concerned that Valencia weren't arsed about him at all. 3 goals in 23 appearances this season. Subbed off at HT last week, and the manager slaughtered him and basically said he wasn't upto the required level.
This is my point. Does he really score that many goals?

Mitrovic is a proven goal scorer in this league.

Also I like how Llorente is more of a fox in the box.

But Batshuyi looks good though.

Not at all interested in being popular

Very interested in saying/doing what's right for Everton FC.

We may agree/disagree but its all about opinions/debate and thats what makes football/supporting Everton amazing.

Sportwitness said we bid 15mill for Gabigol, so youd imagine we could use that on Batshuayi

Except he's not exactly clinical either.
