Everton have rejected fresh interest in Ademola Lookman, this time from AC Milan.

The Italians' made an enquiry for Lookman but were told firmly that the winger is not for sale.

Milan were keen on a permanent deal for the 21 year-old but the Toffees have high hopes for Lookman and no interest in selling.

The Serie A side are now weighing up testing Everton's resolve with a formal offer before Thursday's transfer deadline.

Everton rebuffed strong interest from RB Leipzig, who made a string of bids after Lookman shone during his loan spell there last season, in the summer.

Mayor Farnum

Not saying accept but listen to what they have to say before telling them to 'do one'.

The lad has talent but has spent the last few years with us in a shitshow. When he's played in a settled side with a plan he's excelled, like at Leipzig. Worth persevering with, although the 25m we turned down in the summer was a decent amount which hopefully we won't regret.

Unless it's silly money which it won't be ...it's Milan. ...tell them to do one ...no point selling our best prospects too early .
