Four clean sheets in those five games as well. Shame about Newcastle  :headbang:

When you think about it.

Other than that ridiculous 45 minutes against Newcastle we haven't conceded a goal and actually played rather well.

Makes that Newcastle result hurt all the more.

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Yeah and it will relieve the pressure on them once its confirmed, however we should still have enough to see them off and claim all 3 points.

I am reasonably optimistic about taking points from Arsenal and United at home, victories against the likes of Palace and Burnley.

11 points from 18
You are my Everton, my only Everton, you make me happy when skies are grey

I predicted 7 points in total from that list: Im happy to see weve already surpassed that with half the games still to go.

Just another 7 for the remaining games though.

It's weird that we've been generally quite poor yet have started and finished the season well and potentially will finish in a similar position to last season.

I bet we have a little run and get a couple of results none of us expect. A lot can happen in 3 months.

It always feels like the end of the world when we are as bad as we are now, but it often balances out. I think this long break could do us good, gives the players and managers a chance to work on our issues and hopefully press the reset button when we play Cardiff.

That being said, I think we'll end up on 43-45 points.

Well, I like to think I'm right sometimes :smug:

(Miles out on the points prediction though)

Bring on Arsenal.

Sign of the times. Our last Saturday 3pm home game was Wolves back on the 2nd of February. Three months without a traditional, Saturday 3pm home kick off.

Being completely honest, we have absolutely no form whatsoever, and could turn up and beat Liverpool, but lose to Burnley. You just don't know from one week to the next. However, my stab is below - 10 points (a pessimistic view of the world at present).

Cardiff City v Everton - 1 point
Everton v Liverpool - 1 point
Newcastle United v Everton - Lose
Everton v Chelsea - Lose
West Ham United v Everton - 1 Point
Everton v Arsenal - Lose
Fulham v Everton - 3 points
Everton v Manchester United - Lose
Crystal Palace v Everton - 1 Point
Everton v Burnley - 3 points
Tottenham Hotspur v Everton - Lose

I have thankfully got this completely wrong so far. Although I would state that it was a completely pessimistic view of the world after some utter dross of previous weeks.
