Prolific goalscorer and desperately unlucky not to have played in the 1966 FA Cup Final - we would have won 6-2 if he had!

Unlucky, also, not to have been selected for the England 1966 World Cup squad - better than Roger Hunt!

Have missed Fred the last few years at the match. Stopped going when he felt like he wasn't with it enough. He was always a great man to speak to and his memories were incredible

grew up watching him for Birmingham and played with him once in the reserves I think

always spoke very highly of him, you're right
