I was trying to get my head around this.
So If Arsenal win the Europa then their 5th place Europa leage qualification is not needed, so where does that go?
You've got the 2 cup winners (if City win both they will go to 6th and 7th in to the EL) and then obviosuly the place for the 5th placed team (who won't need it because theyre playing CL).
So are the PL getting had off a bit and they just end up losing 1 place?

I don't really want EL tbh, but it's an interesting point.

No

Only way a country gets 5 in the CL is if the winners of the CL don't finish in CL league positions

That’s wrong if spurs finish 5th and win the champions league they’d just take 4ths place.
The only way we get 5 is if the europa league winners don’t finish in the top 4

If this happens would another European place be given to the league?
