This squad is more than capable of a campaign in Europe.

We’ve got players like Digne, Bernard, Gomes, Zouma, who are used to European football.

Then players like Gana, Richarlison, Pickford who are players who need to be on a European stage.

Other than coming back a bit early it shouldn’t have that much of an impact.

People forget that under Moyes we dealt with European football just fine.

...and but for Collina who knows how much better that could of been.

It would probably be a good thing to get into europe next season. Our young players have started to improve significantly. We need an experienced team of quality in the epl to get anywhere worthwhile next season. We also need to make sure these up and coming youngsters are kept up to their pace, with improvement of their physical fitness levels. I can't see them getting massive amounts of game time and the europa league is the perfect place, to keep improving at a steady rate. Some of our youngsters will get plenty of time though. DCL, for definite and I think this next season will be a defining moment for Tom Davies. I've noticed improvement in his concentration levels that were spoiling his performances. It's a wait and see thing with the youngsters, but europe could well do us favours next season, as a growing squad :)

People talking about Europa like it's a baby league for trying new players, formations etc. but when was the last time we did anything?

Last time we were in it we drew with Appollon Limassol, got beat twice by Lyon and had 5 stuck past us by Atalanta.

If we don't take it seriously - we will be embarrassed again.

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

I'm not advocating playing the under 17's in europe. What I do say, "is give them a chance to show what they can do". It gets tougher in the competition much later on. By then, the young players impressing will get more game time.

It may not be the golden goose as far as income is concerned but the fact that we would be in Europe shows any incoming players that they have at least a chance of a bigger stage than we can offer them as we are now .That must help Brands recruit .I believe the Gomes and Zouma transfers are well underway and not an after the season ends fiasco.

Think we could go into 7th this weekend. Leicester have Newcastle who haven't lost often away from home this season and Southampton can take something against Wolves at home.
I'm more trusting of fellas when they have my cock in their mouth

It’s going to end up between us and Wolves in the last game isn’t it.

What’s the thinking, would you want Wolves get into Europe ahead of us if it stopped Liverpool winning the league?

I'd take Wolves winning on the last day to deny the shite the title. Hopefully though, Chelsea will nick a cheeky 1-0 win at Mordor on Sunday and it doesn't go all the way up to the last day of the season.

Newcastle currently up 1-0 at the King Power.

Here's hoping there are minimal changes to the XI (Keane back in, maybe only one other change), and we give Fulham a hiding. Build up that goal differential. Wolves and Watford having that game in hand is annoying, but I'll view it as the game against each other. I'd want to be 3 points clear on the last day with the GD in our favour.

If we get into Europe, which is a big if, id personally like it to be our priority. Not interested in playing the kids, I want us to win it and its probably an easier route into the champions league. We won't go down, so if he wants to give the kids a chance let them play on the Saturday or Sunday after we've torn someone apart midweek.

What, people hope not to qualify for the Europa league, so that next season we have a better shot at... qualifying for the Europa league?

Haha this. I never really understood this mindset. Don't think you see any other clubs from top leagues complaining about making it to Europe. We really are a deluded bunch, aren't we?
Are we there yet?
