Just had a look at King V DCL on this link - https://www.premierleague.com/stats/player-comparison - thanks @markB !

King seems a bit better in most areas and, like Mitrovic, has a lot more touches and is involved more.

However, when you think he scored 6 more goals than DCL, that seems good - but 5 were penalties and DCL didn't take any penalties so really it's only 1 more.

So, to sum up, not keen on either - need someone better :)

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

Man U fans hate rashford. Heís massively overhyped. Doesnít make him a bad player but heís nothing special either

Would take him over king though. But not at the inflated price they'd want

Me too but I could see them asking for 70m at the very least which is ridiculous

Aiming for younger strikers is the way to go

Ones that are beyond us
Werner
Felix (or maybe the top clubs will want to see more of him)
Piatek

Ones that we could compete for
Andre Silva
Schick
Maxi Gomez
Haller
Dembele
Augustin

Rashford is absolutely special.

He'll have ten times the career of DCL or Mitrovic.

Donít think any of the 3 will be a star at a side who are regular favourites to win the big prizes.

Meunier rumours starting up again, nice.

https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2019/everton-have-made-a-provisional-contract-offer-to-thomas-meunier/

I get it but Iím surprised weíre quite obviously going for a Coleman replacement rather than just someone to challenge him.

Agent chat imo. Doesn't fit what Brands has repeatedly said we need.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Ahhh didn't get the 60 slot thing I was thinking wow 6 times in 10 years.

I think 65 points again would be a good target. That might get you 7th, might put pressure on 6th for periods.

Following up on this and actually winning something...

In the same timeframe 3/20 have been won by these 6 teams.

Which doesnít sound too bad, but then 2/3 the above 3 were by relegated sides and the other faced a 4th tier side in the final, suggesting they were down to the dice falling for them rather than anything a mid ranking quality side could pin their hopes on.

Itís also 12/12 since 2012/13 when Wigan and Swansea won.

Well, yeah that isn't great.

But someone needs to break the mold, and if you look back over a longer and longer timeline, it's a fairly similar picture, but with us in there also hoovering up titles and cups. So you know, if we managed to get up there or win something it would be hopefully closer to a spurs or Liverpool scenario rather than a strike of lightening.

Coming back to that graph... More and more it looks like the drawbridge is closing for good.

We absolutely have to make sure we're on the other side of it, and I have to think that's what Moshiri meant by limited time frame.

P. S @GLewis is that just cups and league cups you're counting there sorry?

How reliable is Alan Nixon?

Fraser was very good for Bournemouth last season but cant see it.
