Is anyone bothered by having a rather nefarious company as out sponsor? Think betting advertising will ever be banned?

Yes.

For all of the good publicity and initiatives they have (kits for Africa, they're work in the community) they are still a betting company, that at the end of the day make money out of people losing it.

Gambling is a huge problem all over the world, and the amount of advertising within sport (especially English football) is quite frankly appalling. It will hopefully go the same way as tobacco advertising in the near future.

As an Everton fan I find it terrible double standards that we have them as our main partner and yet shout about the work EITC do. It's hypocritical and pretty nauseating.

Wish someone at the club would have the balls to do something about it. Money talks though, eh?

They tweeted pictures of arsenal players scoring against us last season on twitter, they had to apologise when our fans kicked off about it, think they've done it a few times

Just don't like sharing a sponsorship with Hull City in all honesty

They're one of Arsenal's main sponsors too, which people forget.

I think there is massive conflict of interest when betting companies are sponsors. Itís too close to home and the potential for match fixing is huge.

Never been into betting. Only been in a bookies once to put a pound on the Grand National.

Agree with what people say about it not being a good fit for us in terms of how proud we are of the work we do in the community.

Would rather we didn't have gambling, tobacco or alcohol anywhere near us.

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

What about porn?  Or fast food?  Or a donut shop?

I'd love us to be sponsored by a donut shop.

I've no moral objection. Betting is legal and the majority of people who bet keep it in perspective and enjoy it. We can't be expected to pander to the weakest in society for every decision we make.

Gambling , tobacco, alcohol, the three industries that have the funds to sponsor Premiership clubs, personally canít see how effective it is, wouldnít have a clue how to place a bet with Sportpesa, if I wanted to have the occasional flutter I would probably just walk into a Ladbrokes or a William Hill etc.
do Sportpesa have shops ? Coming to think of it I never saw Chang in pubs either ?
