I'd still be surprised if we get this lad. He fits the profile we're after but he's too inexperienced and won't play. He'd be behind Davies (who barely gets much game time) and Brands has said he's not going to stockpile young players that can't get game time.

What makes you think he'd be behind Davies? They clearly see something in him to be open to offering 13 million for the lad.

Been impressed with the little I’ve seen of him. Good on the ball, good passing range and a bit of dog in him. Obviously a totally different kettle of fish playing in the PL but he seems to have the tools in his locker

Hope he actually gets a locker then.

Different positions. Sosa is a holding midfielder.  Like Schneiderlin.

Davies signed a 5 year deal recently and was given assurances on his future. They’re both central midfielders but maybe they see TD as an attacking midfielder, whereas Sosa is more defensive. If he’s the replacement for Schneiderlin, that’s a massive gamble.

Maybe Silva wants to use Schneiderlin as our #6 next season, and sees this lad as competition for him

Just what I love... we need an Argentinian at the club...

Been watching the U-20 world cup. This lads been pretty good.(I think he was captain in one of the games)  along with the number 20: Barco who looks like a good winger.  Fave player so for the Argies has been Adolfo Gaitch… kinda reminds me of Straq.

Love these sort of transfers. If we're lucky, we might have another Leandro Rodriguez on our hands!

For that amount and his age you have to hope someone has seen something v special.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Happy with this.

Risky signing, but that’s what we need to do.
