No one is saying sanitary towels should be, compare it more with the need for food banks, it's literally that level we are talking about here were women are having to do without a basic toilettry and make do with whatever they can find, it's the societal equivalent of me wiping my arse on a leaf

You've not been down to Shropshire then?
Full of deciduous trees so autumn is a luxury but winter is hell -and smelly.
The Himalayas has the Yeti, Norway has Trolls, America has Hillbillies. You, good people, are blessed with Shropshire.

How do you work that out then or are you just regurgitating some anti-male propaganda you've digested?

Both sexes shit daily, toilet paper isn't free.

I bet you’re part of some hilarious ‘men’s liberation’ movement. Bless you.

Because I don't believe there's a global plan to enslave women by charging for a box of tampons?

Ok m8

There may not be a ‘global plan to enslave women’ but period poverty is real. Come and work in a school and you will see the full affects of this - especially in poor socio-economic areas. Free contraception is given to people if they ask in the right places.

I'm not debating 'period poverty'.

I was asking how he'd come to the conclusion that sanitary products would be free for men.

Weird how they’re not free though eh. It’s not like a beauty product that women choose to use.

I think Sanitary products should be free to all women, but even some kind of means tested prescription would be an improvement.
The idea that some women have to choose between tampons or food is awful and I'm glad organisations like Eitc are raising awareness of it.

Isn’t he issue that they’re not free in toilets and you have to pay for them?

But, yeah, I’d make them free across the board, or at least free to people on low incomes/benefits.

Why's toothpaste not free?

It's a health essential for everyone.
