What would the statement be?

That we've a bampot owner who wants to pick the team?

For all he was a bit scattergun at the beginning it seems a bit un Moshiri to be trying to tell Brands what to do but you never know.

Well, almost everyone, fans that is, has been saying that we aren't nasty enough to play. That we are to nice of a team.

Could be that we are now going nasty.

If we are looking for a short-term solution up front,  Costa wouldn't be too bad a shout. He knows where the onion bag is, has premier league experience and is an aggressive little fucker to boot.

I’d be surprised. Just as Moshiri hires a guy to do all the football thinking he suddenly can’t help himself and has a nibble again? Nah, can’t see it.

Smacks of an agent playing games the same day as Atletico sign Morata.

Let’s remember chaps that Brands and Silva have said that all targets were agreed months ago. Why would Moshiri start doing this now? This is simply a made up story for clicks

On a free, short term, wanted by the management team and as cover for a younger signing I wouldn’t have a problem with it. Rather be bringing him on than DCL

Take away the moshiri angle and I’d be onboard if the wages/contract wasn’t too much/too long.

Not all signings can be wonderkids and he’d provide a counterbalance of personality along with proven quality
