We're yet to see Silva really go for a 433, maybe because he hasn't got the players for it.

Delph is mobile and aggressive, as opposed to Schneiderlin who is stationary and pathetic, or McCarthy who is injured and injured.

Gomes
Gueye
Davies
Delph

Ideally one more, but I'd be happy going into the season with that, as long as we strengthen CB and striker too.

It’s also why I like the idea of Delph to give us the flexibility to play a 4-3-3.

With Delph, I would also be worried that Tom Davies' development would be stunted further. Schneiderlin looks like he can do a decent job covering in CM as 3rd/4th choice, but to add another CM might make it difficult for Davies to get game time.

Delph likely to be Ghana’s replacement.

Beyond just the fact that he's a very good player...what Delph would bring is experience, a winning mentality, commitment and genuine leadership. I'm not saying you'd make him captain, but when you look at our side, how many players in that 11 would you consider leaders? Very few. Would be good for the younger lads, good for the dressing room, and if he gets on the pitch he will give his all and spur on others at the same time. And this isn't a McCarthy or Besic, someone that'll run and try hard but is actually shite, this lad can actually play football.

I think 16m is a bit steep with a year left, but I wouldn't be disappointed to see this happen.

Holding 9 year jilt grudges would be a mental way to run a football club.

You say that but also fuck nick barmby so you know
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.
