They are insufferable at the moment but to be fair they are champions of Europe and were very nearly champions of this country too. They’re a top team and we need to aspire to be reaching that level.

Sorry Lxxx but its bad when one of our own calls them 'Champions Of Europe'. Champions League is incorrectly named as clearly its not exclusively champions.

They are insufferable enough, we don't need to add to it
You are my Everton, my only Everton, you make me happy when skies are grey

Delph is indeed a good squad-player and might be a bargain...my worry as Silva says he wants to give Davies a chance that Delph in paves the way for Gueye to PSG. That would be a disaster in my opinion as he is our star player.

.....................it does seem like the Delph signing is to help plug a gap when Gueye leaves . Nobody wants Gueye to go but if he gets another chance to join PSG I'm sure he'll take it.

I am sure that Gana was told in January that if we kept him back, and he was very keen to seize the chance of going to PSG , that we would be allowed to leave in the summer, he kept his part of the bargain and put in a stellar performance.

Great piece of business.  Very good footballer, a leader, never afraid to say what he thinks, bargain price and a winning mentality.

I'd be sorry to see Gana leave but maybe Delph will help make our midfield more mobile? We need aggression but he'll improve our build up I reckon. End of the day it is what it is...
